Tomer Giat

TOMER GIAT is a freelance dancer, performer, creator, rehearsal & tour
manager. Born and raised in Israel.
Graduated “Aharon Katzir” High School and the ‘Maslool Bikurey Ha'Itim’ Art
Centre, under the management of Neomi Perlov & Offir Dagan.
Tomer performed with Idan Cohen Dance Company and Dafi Altabeb Dance
Group. He was also assistant to choreographers Roy Assaf, Sharon Vazanna
and Idan Sharabi & Dancers (IS&D).
Along the past decade Tomer has been working as a freelance dancer,
assistant and rehearsal manager, working with numerous creators from the
Israeli and Internationally dance scene: Niv Sheinfeld & Oren Laor , Rachel
Erdos, Israel Aloni (ILDance), Ravid Abarbanel, Gilad Jerusalmy, Or Marin, Roy
Assaf, Odelya Kuperberg and more.
Recently, serves as tour manager and head of international relations.
In 2023, Tomer started his own way of creating works. His first solo ‘Missing’
was created for ‘IntimaDance’ Festival. His second solo ‘Hindsight’ created as
part of “1|2|3 Program”-for emerging Choreographers of the Suzanne Dellal
Centre.
Tomer also treats with Fashikom® method and Holistic Massage therapy
leading by Tal Ziv CKTI.
Awarded scholarship and part of the 5th ‘ATLAS’ program in ‘ImPulsTanz’
Festival, Vienna, from the America-Israel Culture Foundation (AICF), Mifal
Hapais- Israeli Ministry of Culture and supported by The Independent Creator's
found (Ministry of Culture and Sports).
