In Her Own Words
-------------------------
--

"I don't mind living in a man's world, as long as I can be a woman in it........  "

(Marilyn Monroe, Marilyn: Her Life in Her Own Words)

3 dancers in a celebration of the many side of being a woman.

A work that explores issues of perfection, strength and femininity

"The evening was opened by Rachel Erdos’s creation "in her own words" built on a lovely quote by Marilyn Monroe "I do not mind living in a world of men as long as I could be a woman in it".

The trio by Erdos was danced by three excellent dancers. This work does indeed examine all that is feminine and emphasizing it. It responds to the male perspective and attitude, his presence or absence from the work is constructed out of care.

This trio has many surprising moments, and as we wanted a clear statement is made. Erdos also has the ability through her language movement to smile at herself and at us.”
(Zvi Goren, The Stage)
